The Philanthropic Quest in Owning a Gemstone Production Line
Punala Kiripitige

Punala Kiripitige, is the elder son of two gem enthusiasts who have been collecting and supplying gemstones internationally for the past 30 years. He was only a few days old when he first held a Ceylon Sapphire. After having completed his Diploma in Gemmology with the Gemmological Association of Australia (GAA), he has an excellent knowledge of gemstones. Whilst studying Bachelor of Medicine/ Surgery, at the University of Adelaide, he is also studying the Graduate Gemmologist course at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

He is also an Accredited Ethical Member of The International Coloured Stone Association, making him one of two coloured gemstone merchants in Australia with the prestigious membership. Controlling a production line is important in coloured gemstones, to ensure both quality and efficiency. But more than that it’s about the philanthropic endeavor which goes into a large-scale project, which makes it bigger than just selling a gemstone. Punala in his topic will talk about The Philanthropic Quest in Owning a Gemstone Production Line. His talk is interactive, so come strapped with your thinking and sharing caps.
