Paola De Luca

Paola De Luca is Creative Director & Strategist for the Jewellery Luxury Industries. Curator and Public Speakers she operates globally with her Consulting Firm The Futurist LLC together with her international Team of specialists. She landed her first job as a jewellery & watches designer launching the first Fendi jewellery collection under the Direction of Karl Lagerfeld and Carla Fendi in New York. Continued under the wing of Fulvia Ferragamo Visconti designing Home objects for Ferragamo, pilot projects. 

Later she took the role of Global Design Director for UnoAErre, Italian world largest gold exporter in the 90’s as quoted by Forbes Magazine. She designed and curated collections for Giorgio Armani-Fossil, Esprit Group, Swarovski Group. In 2002 launched The TrendBook the first Forecasting Publication for the Jewellery and Watch industry partnering with CRU GROUP in London. 

In 2012 Paola Co-founded TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting, in collaboration with VicenzaOro part of IEG Group, an independent Observatory that focuses on consumers culture, market insights, strategy and innovation focusing on the Jewellery and Watches Industries For 5 years acted as Global design Director for RIO TINTO, launching the “Diamond with a Story” in the USA with Rebecca Foerster. 

A visionary program direct to Consumers promoting Australian Diamonds in the USA. Later the project was extended to India and China markets, where Paola coordinated together with the RTD local Team all activities and training. She collaborated with DeBeers Milan team and Alrosa supporting Design and Marketing Projects between the New York and Moscow. 

In 2021 she Co-Designed with Responsible Jewellery Council a Course for Jewellery designers on Circular Design and its applications. Paola De Luca and her international Team of Specialists lead Strategic projects on: Research & Foresights, Surveys & Think Tanks; Strategy & Innovation, Events and Exhibitions, Curation Exhibitions, Think Tank & Workshops, Creative Content. The Futurist’s Clients includes Independent Brands, Mining Groups, Government Organization, Trade Shows, Academic Institutions.
